We drove out to the Hill Country for the last weekend we were in town and we to Demetri's parent's country home and Jacob's Well Spring.

Chicken Shit Bingo and The Drive In

Last night we went and played Chicken Shit Bingo at this cool little bar where its BYOL. You get a ticket and they put a chicken in this cage, it takes a shit on a number and if it your number you win a prize.

We are in Austin, TX for a week or two visiting with our friend Rob. These are photos of their productive day of skating.

Dallas, TX and The Crawford Family

We left Taos, NM and drove 10 hours to Oklahoma City, OK to make distance and get a hotel to sleep. The next morning we drove to Dallas, TX and stayed with my family. My cousins Bo and Rachel and their son Aaron. Rachel cooked us a big Tex-Mex meal that was fabulous and her mom made homemade peach cobbler. Joe and I learned how to play dominoes the "correct" way. 

We went to the park and walked around.

Taos, New Mexico

We drove to Taos, NM and met up with another couch surfer who is living off the land in the middle of the Mesa Desert. He was a really nice, free spirited guy who cooked us turkey burgers and serenaded us with an acoustic guitar, he knows not only the G chord, but also the C chord.

The road to the Mesa Desert Bungalow.

One of the many houses that hundreds of people build out in this desert from various supplies. One guy built an entire house out of refrigerators and covered the outside in adobe mud. Some of the people are using solar energy to supply their electricity and water.
