We left Bangor, ME and drove to Montpelier, Vt and camped. Vermont was very beautiful.

Then the next day we couch surfed in Syracuse, NY with an interesting hippie, it was freezing the whole time we were there and raining.

We left Syracuse and headed to Cleveland, OH where we couch surfed again with this guy, Scott, that reminded me of John Belushi. He took us to a fun little party on the south side. Interesting experience!

Then we drove to Howard, OH to stay with Joe's friend Dan and his dad, Tony. We relaxed and hung out at their local bar a lot. We took a trip to Columbus, OH (about an hour away), which is a really cool city. Celebrated Joe's birthday a little.
